Gray Baseball Cap. This cap is a unique piece. Built by hand by artist Spencer Daly in his studio from spare parts and tools used to construct his artworks. The hats embody Spencer’s memory of growing up playing baseball in suburban America. The destruction of these hats represents the destruction of that paradise—a paradise of childhood, of the American Dream, and of the bliss of innocence.
Each piece is treated as a handmade artwork. Because of this, each piece is not manufactured. Each piece will also have the markings of the artist’s hands and blemishes.
