Harajuku Hat
Description
This souvenir hat blank was purchased from a non descript Harajuku back alley souvenir shop then reworked by hand in Los Angeles. This is part of a series of souvenir caps aiming at constructing truly 1 of 1 pieces. The hat has burnt seams, sanded and repaired with duct tape. The brim of the hat is chopped, taped, and stapled back shut. There are writing and markings in permanent marker along with a date stamp punched.
